By Day: Paddle Boarding

This newest water-sport craze has plenty of variations and is simple to learn. Be forewarned – it’s a deceivingly good workout so be prepared to be sore. For the fitness buffs and the slightly more adventurous, there’s even paddle board yoga classes. Paddle boarding is a great activity whether you’re going solo, with a group of friends or even the whole family. Work on your tan while enjoying the Miami skyline from the beautiful blue water.

By Night: Enjoy a show at The Fillmore Miami Beach

The Fillmore Miami Beach is a true ode to that fabulous art-deco flair Miami is famous for. Built in the 1950′s, this landmark has seen the likes of the Dick Clark Show, Phantom of the Opera and the Miss USA Pageant all grace its stage. While you could spend plenty of time just admiring the architecture and the history, their always-packed-and-diverse calendar of events is sure to have something to tempt you. Lana del Rey, Bill Maher, Modest Mouse and even Liza Manelli are all alumnae of The Fillmore. Located in the heart of the 305, be sure to take a post-show stroll along the beach before heading home to your luxury Miami Beach apartment.
